How do you like your Coralife halide? Does it generate a lot of heat? What is the distance from your water to your bulb? Can you get it closer or does the arm limit you?

Dude is that a 10 gallon tank, you made into a sump? I have basically the same setup you do, only I have a slightly different light and sump, but I like the way your sump is laid-out.

sorry for the delay! i kindof lost track of these photos.

i dont like the coralife light. crappy quality, bulb it came with had to be replaced right away. noisey fan, etc....it was about 10" above the water. never had any heat issues. i had to customize the arm to make it get lower and not be crooked.

that is a 10g tank. i wound up taking the tank down after about a year. i had a coralife super skimmer that was a total pain in the butt, my overflow system stunk and i got too busy with the kids to pay any attention to the tank. i learned alot from the 20 and put those new ideas into my 60g tank. much better now.
