I just found this little guy a few weeks ago. It must have came in with my original LR and grown to this size, the body is maybe eraser sized. It hides in the same spot on the rocks. Is it safe to keep in the tank. From what I have found most Urchins are reef safe.

ditto, i got one to eat the hair algea, and only just before my tank crash did he start eating that, he spent 99% of his time eating coraline. will clean the rock to a bare white..might even polish it off for you. I would say not reef safe.
