4.5 Eclipes 1st Day

Origanally this was a Eclipes 6 gallon but today I had an idea it looked to tall. So i took 3 inches off the top of the aquarium. I am currently running a Coralife 18W Power Compact. Again it has jus been set up for less then an hour . What do you think of it?

oh, how did you cut 3 inches off? Seems like it would have been a hard job. but it looks good

thanks, yea cutting it was kinda hard. We took ahandsaw and i taped off how much i wantedof and we started from there. After we cut ut we cleaned the edges up with a griding wheel and some sand paper. Works and looks good. That piece of rock is from my 72 it is about 9 lbs show piece.

Im looking at putting 2 10 watt Coralife power compacts in the hood area. can anyone HELP ON HOW I COULD DO THIS
