Maritza The Vase Reef - March 2016

Peace To All.

 

Here we are 38 months young. Still here and growing well. Frag a few pieces and removed our Hollywood Stunner, to make space to move Corals around. We added a Zebra Favia Coral to test out their behavior in the Vase Reef.We are excited on our journey and continuing documenting and videos, pics, of our experiences. Still using the same ABI Par38 bulb, but I've covered a few of the Whites, just to keep our GARF Purple Bonsai, avoiding the bleaching. So far, it's been a great change on all the other Corals as well and they seem to LOVE IT.

Also I had a Hollywood Stunner for a hot second until

I saw the destructive power of that thing :D. Needless to say mine is gone too.

Peace . Thanks for having a look and comment. I still have the Stunner but it's in frags now. I'm putting a piece back to continue the generation. It behaved in the Vase Reef. I know about the Stingers, but never had that problem in there over a year. But it was almost 5" and it was over shadowing some very nice Zoas and the Pachyseris Unchained.

Thanks so much for having that copy and so grateful that we've inspired you greatly. I'm honored that Reef Hobbyist Magazine invited us and did the feature on Maritza The Vase Reef. Great experience and great working with them. They did a fantastic job in all.

 

Also grateful that Leonard Ho did the article on Advance Aquarist Magazine 2014 and his write up and layout was so graciously written.

 

We also did an article for Albert Thiel and his magazine and newsletter 2015.

 

We're on Instant Ocean's FB Page under the Expert Column and we did an article for them too. We Thank them all for having us.
