Nice. Got a full tank shot and thread for this tank? How about the specs? Love seeing mature tanks.

Hey thanks a lot man. Unfortunately I don't have any full shots uploaded right now (aside from my Avatar) or a thread, but they're on the way! It's a standard 20 gallon, 24''X 12, I believe, with a custom pine stand. I find lighting to be th most important aspect, so right now I'm using an HO T5 unit and two strips of reefbright LEDs, one 12 inch blue and a 24-inch white. I'm thinking about going up to all LED units once the warranty runs out on my T5's because the unit buns out quite frequently. Since it's pretty mature and stable, I'm just using a small aquatic life skimmer, it does a good job even though it's a pretty basic unit. I generally achieve good water quality through weekly 10% water changes. It does the trick. nitrate, ammonia, nitrite all 0 ppm. I don't measure calcium hardness but dose every other day with bio calcium. Corals have been responding well to the regimen, so I've been sticking to it. salinity is around 1.024, with fluctuations. I don't run a sump, so I top up every two days with fresh water. I like to let small fluctuations occur and to slowly correct them, keeping everything within an acceptable dynamic range rather than really artificial parameters. Feeding twice daily with a mix of spirulina brine, cyclopeeze, and mysis. Sometimes i give vitamin-enriched flakes in the morning.
