Formula462 Posted March 12, 2012 looks a little angry. is that soon after putting him in? Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 12, 2012 yea, not even a full day after... Do you think its because its not enough light? I have him in a slightly darker corner... Quote Link to comment
Criley7 Posted March 12, 2012 I would give him more light then shade, but still keep it on the sand bed. Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 12, 2012 Will do. I'll move him tonight when I get home. Thanks Criley7! Still keep him with low flow and higher light? Or med-high flow higher light? Quote Link to comment
Criley7 Posted March 12, 2012 Well it still needs low light, just NO SHADE. And in low-Medium flow. Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 12, 2012 sounds good. I'll pick the right spot! Hopefully... Quote Link to comment
Formula462 Posted March 12, 2012 down low in a slightly shady, still area, would be where I would put it. you have AI sols right? Those are strong even when down powered. Wellsos always do better with me when they are more or less in the dark to start out at least. Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 12, 2012 That is correct i have 3 Sol blues. Should I leave him there for a few more days or move him tonight? Quote Link to comment
Formula462 Posted March 12, 2012 it looks to be in a good spot as far as the tank goes, so long as there isn't a strong current from a powerhead rolling the water down the glass. I would leave him be and observe. From my experience in coral, I would assume that your wellso (btw there is no such thing anymore, it's a trachy) probably gets about the size of a youth baseball mitt when fully expanded. If you notice extruded innards, or pinch areas of flesh with exposed bone, I would try moving it then. Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 19, 2012 It's doing good. I'm Feeding it ever day with some Mysis shrimp and cyclopseze! It's tenticals are out and tissue is more expanded than it was before I put him in the tank! It's not like the other lobos I have but it is eating! I turn off all power heads and have now water flow do the Mysis shrimp land on him And he eats it up within a few min! He is puffed up More now. Although the metallic lobo I just got is HUGE! He is Awsome looking! Quote Link to comment
