iPhone 4S Photo2

Do you have an iPhone lense? If that's purely stock, it's better than any mobile pic I've seen.

It's the stock lens with the new 4S, I think it's 8 MP.

is the coral right next to the glass when you took the picture? i have a 4S and haven't gotten a close up like that yet.

Yes actually it is very close to the glass, part of it touches the glass. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing for the coral but he definitely keeps any algae off the glass in that area
