swc... sorry but its def not a barracuda... looks like a needlefish of some type... they are very very dangerous...JK...glad you survived =)

Yeah. I saw those while snorkeling in Cozumel quite a bit-mostly in schools.Thought they were 'cuda to until I got back and looked them up. I did see one 'cuda though about 4 feet long. Scary looking fish for sure.

yeah def a needlefish of some sort, there were tons of these in grand cayman as well. i made the same mistake at first and then i started to see some barracuda and figured it out. ran into a 4 ft + cuda there too, pretty intimidating but really cool to be so close to it.
