Question- Is the rock sitting on top of the sand? IF so - you should place the rock down on the bottom of the tank. If something tunnels under the rock later it can cause and avalanche - kill coral or crack the tank.

Thanks for the tip, I think I pushed them down till they hit glass, but I will double check before I start adding lifestock.
