Yeah its a grade C ... the only potential your clown has is getting its black color in and its tail may become whitish... usually after 7 months you can tell there grades ... even earlier like 5-6 months , nice clown though , i wish mine had the side burns like yours . check mine out http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=282063&pid=3567097&st=0entry3567097

lol I don't really care what grade it is. A, B, F, Z. It looks freaking awsome at a good price. Same price I got my onyx for. Im hoping they spawn.

Is is a cool looking fish but it's still a grade C. I can tell because I am surrounded by ORA clowns at work all day. You most certainly can tell what grade they are when they are babies. You can spot grade C right off the bat and so can ORA. ORA sells juvenile clowns all the time. It's not like they have a flat rate and if your lucky it will turn into an ultra grade picasso for 25 dollars. I wasn't being rude, I was telling you that you got a fish for five dollars under the average (around here anyway) and it's cool.

The Ultra grade and A grades typically are a little older before they are sold. Partly because with the high grades there are very small subtleties that can make a 100 dollar or more difference. ORA wants to be sure they are getting their money and that the fish is labeled correctly before selling it. But like I said with the lower grades (still effin' cool don't worry) they can tell right away. That's why all the 30 dollar grade C ones in our store are typically a lot smaller than the A and Ultra grades.

Dude its ok, maybe someday you'll come across a cool clownfish like mines. The fact that its a grade C doesn't make a difference. If he was 50$ or 100$ I would have still gotten him, but I only paid 25$ which im my opinion is a steal. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". But thank you for the unnecessary information.

You did get him for a steal because by paying 25 dollars you pretty much got him at cost. Retail they are about 50-90 dollars. Don't get so butthurt btw. You're being a real wiener.
