Xenia likes to spend time horizontally sometimes . Any ideas why? If you dont see it - look left lower corner.

flow perhaps? not sure. Occasionally I see them bend over to grasp another spot on the rock and split. Can't wait to see those birdnests grow out.

I was thinking flow too...looks like its pulling towards the powerhead.

but sometimes she stands vertical at the same flow. Thats the interesting part. And when horizontal , body seems deflated. And when inflates -stands nicely.

when its erect its able to hold up against the flow , but when it deflates it doesn't have the ability to hold itself up and just leans to where the water is pulling it (which is the powerhead)... this is my guess

Yes it is exactly like this. But is this normal to be deflected almost all time ? Shes not shrinked , just not erected as to say

i think they cycle from being inflated to deflated... my corals always have some kind of downtime (especially during no light) in a 24 hour period
