kotlec Posted May 17, 2011 Xenia likes to spend time horizontally sometimes . Any ideas why? If you dont see it - look left lower corner. Quote Link to comment
doppelganger Posted May 17, 2011 flow perhaps? not sure. Occasionally I see them bend over to grasp another spot on the rock and split. Can't wait to see those birdnests grow out. Quote Link to comment
nor_cal_nano Posted May 17, 2011 I was thinking flow too...looks like its pulling towards the powerhead. Quote Link to comment
kotlec Posted May 17, 2011 but sometimes she stands vertical at the same flow. Thats the interesting part. And when horizontal , body seems deflated. And when inflates -stands nicely. Quote Link to comment
Fluffeh Posted May 17, 2011 when its erect its able to hold up against the flow , but when it deflates it doesn't have the ability to hold itself up and just leans to where the water is pulling it (which is the powerhead)... this is my guess Quote Link to comment
kotlec Posted May 17, 2011 Yes it is exactly like this. But is this normal to be deflected almost all time ? Shes not shrinked , just not erected as to say Quote Link to comment
Fluffeh Posted May 17, 2011 i think they cycle from being inflated to deflated... my corals always have some kind of downtime (especially during no light) in a 24 hour period Quote Link to comment
