reef-luva Posted March 1, 2011 ....don't know. I have housed Perc's off and on for literally 27 years, and quite successfully I might add, I have bred them before. Either old age or the GBTA stung him hard, which is kinda unlikely. This Perc was hosting some hairy shrooms and when I got the GBTA is was ALL over it and all up in it. I thought, at times that he was too rough with the anem, I have seen certain ones reject clowns because of their bed side manner or lack there of. Mostly if the anem has never had a fish host it or if it's been along time. There were absolutely no outer signs of death on that fish. He ran the tank, so NO one else could stress him that much. He was big and so maybe it was just old age. I spoke with a couple friends that own shops here in LA and they didn't offer any better explanations for his sudden death. Quote Link to comment
