Less than a week old tank, has a tang, has clams, 3 fish total, crushed coral.....should have done some research.

Actually i downgraded from a 70 gallon which i've had for 2 years to a 30 gallon nano I wish i can find a new home for the Blue tang

I still would recommended (highly) changing out the sand-bed and getting rid of the tang though.

I ran crushed coral for 4 years in one cube and sand in another and had no problem with ether one
