Is it the skeleton

It could well be, its kinda spicky inside, like its made up of lots of long,thin plates. I dont know whether or not to keep it in there! My brother brought it back from greece ages ago, i asked him if he had bought it and he said no it was on some private beach so i told him i would maybe use it in my tank. He also collected a load of fancie shells but i told him i wasnt going to put them in lol.

Can you get a closer pic of the skeleton, i was thinking may be it was a candy at one time?
