Do you spot feed the gorgonian? If so what? I've been thinking about getting one but have heard they can be difficult if they don't take to feeding

dude i'm digging the light upgrade! i've gotta stop by one day to check out your tank. its only fair you saw my tank. lol i need some blue leds for my 40b.

@ urbaneks - not at all. I feed the tank Phyto feast and Roti feast every other day, thats it. I have heard the same about them, but to be honest, polyp extention has never been an issue and it has been growing like crazy.

@gabe_j - stop by anytime man, you got my number. I would like a second opinion on where I should raise my lights to. I really need to get my hand on a PAR meter. I would do a 2:1 mixture of TV:RB LEDs.

How high is the the bottom of the 150w from the water?

Its 10" from the waterline. That might change now though. It might be too bright for the acans on the bottom. And with the addition of the LEDs, well, thats just more PAR. I might raise the LEDs to 10" and the MH to right above that and see how it goes.
