Aquanist Posted November 13, 2010 So what does it look like when your sand isn't yellowish green? Quote Link to comment
phalogore Posted November 13, 2010 I hope I could get zoas around here... the only marine shops here dont even know what a zoa is.. and when they get 'em they just call 'em polyps Quote Link to comment
reef-luva Posted November 13, 2010 "that's not sand smart ass, its a frag tile...." THAT'S funny!! Quote Link to comment
jbb Posted November 13, 2010 ^ thanks, i just get so tired of some of the people on here that constantly seek out others to make stupid , smart ass comments to try and make themselves feel or look better. There are tons of really nice and respectful reefers here that really have good intentions. HOWEVER, there are a handful of others that play by a different set of rules. AQUANIST , if you were not being a pest then I do apologize for my harsh response, but if you meant it the way it came across - then I stand by my response. - I'm not the only member that has made this point either, it has become a huge problem and I hope it gets better. -Rant over (I hope) Quote Link to comment
jbb Posted November 13, 2010 Nice try, it's expected from you Stevie , after all you were nominated for the PEST of the month photo contest. How in the world did you not win ?? Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted November 13, 2010 Your pictures are entirely over saturated, you take things a little too personal. Quote Link to comment
jbb Posted November 13, 2010 I'm not the one who took the pics so I had no control over that. just posted the only pic I have at the moment. I will post a better one once everything gets settled in. Also if I snapped, I apologize . I have had much better days than today. Quote Link to comment
Aquanist Posted November 13, 2010 Sand/frag tile/whatever. Impossible to say from the picture which it is without knowing. However, my sand/frag tile/ whatever has never been that colour. Sorry if I came across a bit harsh, but it does seem a tad oversaturated. My fault? Not likely. If you could conjure up a picture with other polyps etc. on the background looking normal I'd be the first to take back all my words and to apologise and join in the jealous crown drooling after you zoas. Peace. Quote Link to comment
jbb Posted November 13, 2010 no worries man, im just having a rough day, and I snapped. sorry. like i said earlier, i didnt take that pic and it is all i have at the moment. i will have better ones when the tank settles and everything opens back up. Quote Link to comment
Tenacious716 Posted November 14, 2010 Since you don't have access to another pic, I fixed the one you posted (that is, unless the algae on your disc is actually nuclear glowing green. Quote Link to comment
