reef-luva Posted October 26, 2010 thanx echo!...he's kinda sleepin' now, he gets bigger at night. Quote Link to comment
reef-luva Posted October 26, 2010 I just moved him to the center of the tank, that way he has a lot of room. I took a night time shot with a huge camera....at night is when they really open. Quote Link to comment
Tenacious716 Posted October 26, 2010 I have a bright pink one with white center tentacles... they pack one helluva sting but it's worth it for something so beautiful and unique. I noticed a dramatic color increase after feeding Rods/Mysis. They sure do love to stretch out at night! Quote Link to comment
reef-luva Posted October 26, 2010 Tenacious: ya, your right about the night thing... a lot of people don't realize that a carpet's or sebae's have a greater chance of eatin' other tank mates than these do...and aiptasia has a more complex venom and a stronger sting. These are not so much animals out for fish, keep them away from all else, feed them and they are awesome....and their not really anemones either...different class, different inner workings. anemone fan Posted October 26, 2010 Beautiful animal, but not an anemone. Totally different order (Ceriantharia as opposed to Actinaria) Quote Link to comment

reef-luva Posted October 26, 2010 ..."and their not really anemones either...different class, different inner workings." Like I said anemone fan, they are not anemones....David: once they get in your tank they cover them selves with the substrate of your tank, so you dont see the big turd!!!...hahaha Quote Link to comment
