I caught the lil bastard last night nibbling but he left it alone last night. I taught scuba all day and came home to this.... I caught him and he is now being returned to LFS by my wife and son!

Peppermints are evil! I had 2 that killed my acans but the karma bit them in the ass, my 6 line bird, killed both of them. He was swimming around one day with a leg hanging out of his mouth. I wont ever own a peppermint shrimp again!

I dont know what to do for the coral but i would wait it out and see if it grows back and keep an eye on it for infection

It seems to be coming out. I just hope it will cover the skeleton so Algae won't grow on it until it has time to hopefully grow over it. Infection... what should I look for?

When my torch got infected the flesh continued to withdraw and then it started spewing brown stringy gunk out...

Fried shrimp, broiled shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp..... sorry your shrimp went rogue. Little bugger. One of mine snacked on some zoos. I hope your hammer heals well.

Lugol's is an iodine solution you can dissolve in a container with tank water and dip your coral in for 5-10 minutes to help kill bacteria, pests, etc.. and help your coral heal.

Thanks, I will try that. It appears that it is open somewhat normally this morning. EMC2.. funny thing is, My sons suggested Shrimp for dinner. We did grilled shrimp and I think I got some kind of sick pleasure out of skewering each one!
