How to Propagate Maxi/Mini Carpet Nems...

Great video! But im still scared...

It's easy.. these are going on like 4 days and they are all fine... I cut 3 of both nems and all 6 are almost fully rounded back into shape with the exception of quarter pieces... which are still crescent form. Iodine is very key along with being very clean in how you do this.. Both blades were brand new and cleaned prior to cutting the nem.

How'd you get the nem off the rock?

Danemarx - The picture is the same one in the beginning of the video... it is actually under the same LED light as well.. except the picture above the nem is closer to the LED cluster. In the video it is about 18 inches away

Jacob - They attach pretty fast... they usually move around a little bit.. I try to herd them into a little spot of rubble, but they are excellent ninjas.

How long do you dip Yumas (any ric) in Iodine?
