Well... It's a retrofit. I see a few problems though.

1) Lose the duct tape... Use some epoxy or zip ties or something. The tape will probably fall off from the moisture.

2) I would solder the wires and put on some heat shrink tubing

Good advise for sure. I'm going to work on more solid, moisture proof wiring once I know I don't need to change anything. I might even try a 18 watt since it should fit in the space.

I also have an empty Eclipse 3 in my basement that I need to do some work on one day.

I hope to fit 2x13w in there eventually.
