Zoo colony decimated by urchin!

Burning embers zoo colony nearly destroyed by a hungry urchin (towards bottom left). I had a beautiful pink/purple urchin that got too big for this 12g nano and resorted to eating my zoos. I returned the urchin to the LFS so he could be placed in a larger tank. Didn't think urchins would eat zoos.

Dude ate a lot of algae though (before the zoos at least). I think it ate 24 hours a day.

I love my Urchin. He does an awesome job. I only have him, 3 hermits, and a turbo so they always have food. I read that mine will resort to eating polyps if he didn't have enough food.

I also read that they could be fed seaweed to substitute for algae. I put the urchin in quarantine for a couple of days before I gave him back and fed him seaweed.
