Lol, simple research and start up with the best of what you can learned from this forums. Quick overview purigen refugium with cheato chemi pure elite 1inch or so of live sand carib sea I think, some awesome porous live rock with lots of coraline and lots of live 10 pounds of it and many other little things but I think these are the basic players. By the way I'm using bionic 2part and purple up and I can definetly see the coraline spreading very slowly but it's definetly going and this is a two week old tank

So basically, your measuring your tank's "cycleness" by the amount of purple and live it has?

Thanks Genius, that's how you normally cycle. And it lasts 3 weeks. What I'm wondering is how you are able to completely stock your reef in 1 week and have it last.

so you think you are the first one to try this, please, a true cycle take months. you're def. gonna have some algae issues i tell you what

In my personal case it worked. I,ll be waiting for the algae bloom but so far going into my fourth week and no signs of a problem since day one.

Tell me about it kthehun89,11 weeks running and my Nitrates are not at cero.I got steady parameters but It'll take a while for my tank to mature.

Still no algae Problem other than good coraline growth and everything looks better everyday
