gosink1000 Posted April 27, 2010 Your tank has a lot of different coral, I like it. You say the picture is old...any plans to post newer ones? Is that cyphastrrea up front by the B & W clown? I shot my photo with an old canon digital camera. I run a Coral Life 4 tube VHO fluorescent fixture. The tubes are double ended (metal pins on both ends of the tube) and two integral timers 1 for 2 tubes and the other for the last 2 tubes. I purchased my tubes (24 watts each) from http://www.reefgeek.com/lighting/Replacement_Bulbs/T5_Fluorescent/24_Watt/ 1 superactinic T5HO 1 blue plus 1 mid day sun 1 pro color (more red than any of the others) Quote Link to comment
wachopr Posted April 27, 2010 I think My fixture is about the same but different brand.4 x 24 watts 1000K with integral timers and lunar lights. http://www.lnt.com/product/light-fixtures/48081/current-usa-sundial-t5ho.html Yeap thats a cyphastrea and I actually moved it from that spot cause I think it was getting to much light, his tentacles or polyps (however is the right term) weren't spreading and it was loosing it's pretty turquoise color plus it had some nasty white lines like it was cracking I put him in a more shaded area and it seems to getting better.I'll try to post some pics today.THANX!!!
