Macro or Soft Coral? 1

RESONANCE

Macro or Soft Coral? It looks like a Macro Algea but has the texture and feel of a soft coral. Also its very slippery and has a fleshy feel and thickness of about 1/3 a centimeter. Whats really cool is the tips glow yellow under antinic lights.

Saw this 'Macro' on a piece of Figi live rock in a LFS...and bought it from them.

I've had that before. It's hard to get rid of as it breaks off and spreads (also takes good hold of the rock). I used to call it Gracilaria, but I'm guessing it might be Chondrus crispus.

You can see it next to the fan worm

and on top of the urchin.
