thatoneazn Posted December 21, 2009 coral will pop out more if you upgrade your lighting, or change to a different spectrum if u are using MH or t-5's Quote Link to comment
Sh55 Posted December 23, 2009 I'm using MH with 2 T-5 supplements. The MH is a DE 150W 14K. I'm not sure what brand it is but I do notice that it's a little too yellow. I've heard people recommend the Phoenix for more blue but I do have 2 T5 supplements and I'm worried about it being too blue. Any recommendations? Thanks College! Quote Link to comment
Sh55 Posted January 5, 2010 Anyone have any opinions here? I'm looking for likes/dislikes insights whatever Quote Link to comment
reefer916 Posted April 25, 2010 I like your setup.. Agree that the Phoenix 14k's will make your tank pop more. There's a lot brown colored softees in your tank. I think it'll look awesome if you added somemore yellows, oranges, and reds in there. Maybe replacing some of those Kenya's with a nice mat of bright zoas or polyps. You also have that really nice spot in the top center of your tank. A nice SPS acro or monti would look nice there. Either that or a really nice frogspawn or torch would go well there.
