Impressive aquascape! Love the corals placement...

About sand color, I agreed with black. Lots of aquarist are using it.

Black for sure...

Lots of people say it makes detritus stand out, but white is just the same... my white sand always looks "dirty"

Nice tank

White sand can get dirty too! I like both colors but I do agree that black can really make colors pop.

"Black goes to crap without constant cleanings"

I disagree. White is no better. Go with the black bro.

Ok seems like black is the winner! Since my tank is kinda establish is it possible to add in the tank and will it recycle again? I'm new to this add nor sand process. I also need to know what type of sand to use if I go with black?

Well... tahitian moon sand from carib sea is good, really fine stuff, some people had trouble with "magnetic" pieces i think.

Seachem has some tidal grey, its not black but its dark.

Just look around

That's I will do some research on the sand then? Is it ok to add sand in an establish tank? Do I always wash or rinse the new sand out even if it's live sand?

will the tahitian moon sand be blown away from my MP20 because i usually leave it on full blast reefcrest? and how thick should i add the sand in if i do?
