What are your tank specs?

it is an 8.5x8.5" 2.5 gallon glass vase. I am planning on upgrading to a 9"cube DIY because the vase has so many bubbles and irregularities. Filter is a Tom's Rapids mini canister....no media, just for flow and the 50w heater fits inside. I am upgrading to an Eheim 2213 that is being fitted with a heater in the media basket. I need something where i cab control flow more easily. Lighting is 2 13w PCs (10k +Actinic) in a DIY hood of sheet metal.
