varanus37 Posted March 25, 2009 On second thought, it does look a bit sickly. I could rehab it for you if you really wanted me to. I mean, it'd be an inconvenience and all but I'd be willing to help you out. LOL. Quote Link to comment

NationReef.com Posted March 25, 2009 usually, does not last... I have had this happen to a few and the eventually just split and have the two tone for a while in very small areas, but eventually turns one color. Still very nice though.. Quote Link to comment
Nick's Reef Posted March 25, 2009 Morgan, just take a razor bklade and chop it up into about 4 pieces, in a month you'll have 4 nice rics lol. I wonder if you frag it in half wiht one half all green and one half orange if it will keep the patteren when it grows? Quote Link to comment
Marteen Posted March 25, 2009 Yeah I was just going to recommend fragging it in half to keep the color morph going. Quote Link to comment
DCG1286 Posted March 25, 2009 Let the bidding start at $1,000,000 Sexy Ric ... love it! Quote Link to comment
Reef Goddess Posted March 25, 2009 Yeah I did cut them in half that way yesterday, so it should do it. I've actually had these for good on 3 years and they have maintained their bicolorness even through one split. I recently dremeled them off their rock to make them easier to propagate. All the ricordia frags that I sell that have multiple polyps, were forced split. I have some frags now that have 4-5 polyps after 3 months or so. It's pretty cool. Quote Link to comment
Khayman Posted March 25, 2009 I had a blue and orange but it split and now I have a orange ric and a blue ric Quote Link to comment
akabryanhall Posted March 25, 2009 I wouldn't mind a frag of that. I'll even drive down to Coral Gables lol. Quote Link to comment
