nematoad Posted March 6, 2009 Sand bed is mixed, with a total depth of about 4.5" - the bottom 3.5" is sugar fine oolithic, and within that is the base rock for the structures on top (to avoid an avalanche). On top is about 1 - 2" of CaribSea crushed coral. And I added quite a few small (less than .25" cube) to marble (.5" cubed) sized pieces of rubble for them to use in their dens as well.
