Land & Sea stove experiment

i saw this 19th century stove at my local thrift store and bought it for 10 bucks. I scrubbed it clean for a week, and then covered the entire bottom and edges with two layers of shower curtain liner. I sealed it shut with epoxy, and then created a rainforest scenario with a 6" deep and 2' wide saltwater pool in the middle....I have since added live rock and about 1" of black aragonite. I suspended an extension cord with three 15w 50/50 mini pc bulbs from coralife down through the shaft of the stove. Heater is hidden within waterfall, and the water is filtered with a "deuto." Next step is fillng the stove with compatable animals, both land and aquatic. So far the cycle within the water is in its nitrite spike stage...hope this works...I was thinking if i could fill the pool with some nice flourescent mushrooms and zoos and then rig up a moonlight or pure actinic for the evening, this thing could be unreal

Looks awesome, but you might have some trouble with the land animals getting into the saltwater or trying to drink it.

Don't know anything about how to keep such a biodome, but from the esthetic point of view, it's awesome :)

Neat. If you used fresh water you would have a lot more option on the critters. Frogs, insects, snakes, etc
