pos_user Posted September 4, 2004 too low in the tank, that wont kick in until you get about 2 inches of evap, which wont be stable enough. Try to raise the float switch higher up on the water level, i have mine set up so that evap half the size of a tic tap occurs, water level goes right back to beginning. You should try that...the higher up the float switch, the more sensitive it is to evap. Quote Link to comment
samwoo2go Posted September 10, 2004 my float switch doesn't turn on when it hit the bottom of the red tab, it kicks in about 1/4" from the bottom, I tested it with an airpump and it kicks in once the water drops 1/8" from where it is right now. Thanks anyway. Quote Link to comment
