masterbuilder Posted November 2, 2008 The tricks are...lots of actinic, increasing the color saturation and tickling acans to make them retract. When acans to retract the colors are much different/intense than when they are inflated. Check out the empty space between the heads. Is the pic enhanced? You decide. Quote Link to comment

TheAquaDen Posted November 3, 2008 Casey is a good guy and gets in great coral, I have seen them myself!! I believe the picture is taken under T5. That picture is not an acan, its a micromussa. The tenticles are showing, therefore the polyps are not being "tickled" or the tenticles would retract first. With the coral being Micromussa, the polyps are fully expanded in the picture. TheAquaDen Posted November 3, 2008 I agree with you DetailsRock! I was defending Casey (Bluegass Corals) from what msturgis stated. I also carry a lot of very nice and colorful coral. At times people say that I alter the pictures when in fact, the coral is just that nice, I never alter pictures. I am not trying to argue with anyone, just pointing some facts on the photo. But, dont think twice about purchasing from Casey, he is a great guy with great coral. Quote Link to comment
