Addition of a Mandarin Dragonette

Good luck with that. The same thing almost happened to me. My wife said she wanted to get one. But my guy at the LFS told us different. He said its a coin toss with these guys, they may starve, even if you try to feed them. How is this guy really holding up in your tank?? I'm still interested, it's a cool looking fish.

He is still doing fine. I have tried the Mandarin diner per Melevsreef.com with no success. I ushered him to the diner (pickle jar) and he went in but was upset by the whole ordeal and all he did was take in a piece of mysis and spit it out (picky ba$tard!!). I then tried some of the small pellet carnivorous Oceans Nutrition food with no luck that I have seen. I will just keep up trying to feed him what I have and hopefully he will get hungry enough to eat. I cant say that he hasnt eat at all because I dont watch him all the time. When I do feed him I put the little balls of food on the live rock because he likes to hover around it alot. Time will tell.
