Between the front having about 24 lbs of live rock and the back having about 4 lbs of live rock, how much more live rock would you think I need for a 24 gal tank????

I dont think he meant for a matter of needing it. I think he meant for a matter of viewing purposes you have all those extra inches on the top and he was probably suggesting you fill in the space.
