what pump you plan on using? you're gonna have ALOTA gph loss with all those unions and double scwd's

Agreed on the loss, but if it's a small/nano-sized tank then even if they only get 200-400gph output after the loss split across those 4 alternating outputs, it could do wonders for the health of any heavy mucus-shedding corals (soft and hard alike) as well as keeping detritus suspended in the water column longer so it can be skimmed/filtered out.

 

Make sure the SCWDs can be easily removed for cleaning and prefilter the input feed so they don't get all "mulmed" up as quickly.

i would suggest using a y at the intersection because it will help flow enough to give that extra umph.
