Ocho Cinco Posted March 26, 2008 What happened to the stock light? Dosen't it come with the ap? Quote Link to comment
Billandshellysaquapod Posted March 26, 2008 I took the lid off because I wanted to upgrade to Metal Halide lighing. I wanted to go with no top due to gas exchange and without a top the tank stays cooler also. I have been running the tank for a little over a month now and just upgraded my lights less than a week ago.. Quote Link to comment

Billandshellysaquapod Posted March 26, 2008 Thanks. The next thing is getting some more liverock. I will probably go with about 20 more pounds. Quote Link to comment
Oceanic 30g Posted April 3, 2008 Looks nice and clean. Be careful adding more rock with a fish in there. It is going to cause a mini cycle most likely. I agree that you need more rock though. How much is in there now? Quote Link to comment
aquaneesh Posted April 5, 2008 i think the tank is great as is, its very simplistic Quote Link to comment
bluesky Posted April 16, 2008 nice tank. do you have an auto top-off? there could be quite a bit of evaporation. Quote Link to comment
Billandshellysaquapod Posted April 17, 2008 I don't have an auto top-off. I have to add water in every couple of days. Being topless the water doesn't get as hot as when I had the stock hood on it. I also just added mor rock and have a total of about 40lbs now of which five lbs is in the back chamber. Will post some pics soon... Quote Link to comment
