I have removed about 100 of those guys from my 20 gallon tank within the last week. Do you have zoos in your tank? That is how I got mine. They suck the life out of your zoos. Good luck!

nudibranch...

 

Nudibranchs tend to be highly specialized feeders. They often feed on the different types of cnidarians such as hydroids, anemones etc., but often only feed on one type. Some species will actually incorporate the stinging cells from their prey into the frilly gills on thier backs. See if you can figure out what they are eating before you panic and rip em out. Just because you have nudibranchs doesn't mean that your polyps etc are in danger. Watch them and see if they are actually grazeing on your corals. They feed in a similar manner to snails (are also gastropods) so just watch and see if they are munching away. GL

yep they are grazing on my zoos. I just hope there aren't any more...I'm going to keep a close eye on my zoos now.

you can freshwater dip your zoo's for a minute, if there are any on there it will kill em instantly. I had to do it with a frag of zoo's that I got.
