You will have a problem with the blenny. They need lots of natural algae to survive and with a new tank there may not be enough for its diet.

Well he does eat quite a bit of the algae that covers the rocks that you can't really see in the photos, and i've got some green algae thats starting to grow, but if i have to supplement his diet by adding algae or food i certainly will...

Good to hear he has something to eat. I have read that they do not eat supplement algae, only naturally growing stuff.

thanks pyros! it took a lot of variations to get it like i wanted it haha

stevieT: yeah i read about them and their eating habits before i got him i figured id just have less of a conventional clean up crew and let him take care of most of the algae on the rocks and such, he even eats off the windows and back so i'll keep an eye on the algae levels and his health i definitely don't want him starving...

he also seems to enjoy eating pods...

algae? Maybe brown diotoms if your lucky. I see a system that's been running at least 2 to 3 weeks! With that kind of time frame i would have never added that many fish for a 34g.

But anyways i'll give a thumbs up for the aquascape...

thanks 33g-reef, i've had a thing for the b&w's since i first saw them, my dad has 2 maroons, and my brother has 2 true percs which might as well be onyx's with as much black as they have, so i guess the normal orange ones just dont cut it for my family! haha
