Yes, definetly take the tang back. I personally don't think Blue Tangs should be put in any tank lower than a 75 gal.

I took the tang back around a month ago as he didn't seem very happy although I was advised by the shop he would be fine and he wasn't, I have now got a regal damsel instead and a horseshoe crab...

I am going to ring my fish shop tommorrow and give them a piece of my mind, they told me as long as there was plenty of sand to burrow he didnt need much room AND that I DIDNT need to feed him they are a filter feeder.. that is INCORRECT as the article you showed me states they need to have their own food. I didn't really read up about them because I saw them and the guy was like they will be fine in your tank and they take ages to grow he's shed his skin twice so he is obviously growing FAST!

I have recently looked into getting sea horses and have read a book about them which says they can have frozen food, the LFS also told me this and that it would be 2 feeds per day and then another told me you cant have them and work because they need to be fed every 2 hours???? Which is correct?

seahorses need specialized care and are almost a hobby unto themselves -- you might try posting a question in either beginners/general/advanced as there are quite a few folks on here who raise them... here's also a link to a topic search on seahorses, you can browse for some additional info http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?act=Search&CODE=show&searchid=144665bb7fcac8d59d09c31af7b070a4&search_in=titles&result_type=topics&highlite=%2Bseahorse
