Dendonepthia

I have the thing stuck in a cave of sorts, but i think it still gets too much light. At night it seems to look better but the polyps are not as open as they are during the day.. is this normal? Or should I put it further in the shade?

I had that type of dendro at one time. I ended up gluing it up under a ledge. The only light it saw was from the reflection of the sand. Seemed to do pretty well there. I kept if for almost five months there. Good luck with it. Looks good right now.
