False water cobra... but I like to call it a Brazilian smooth snake, its the other common name and saves me the trouble of explaining that I don't have a cobra cobra (naja sp.). She's poisonous, but rear fanged... she'd have to get really lucky or chew on me for a while to get any venom in my system. I don't really worry too much though, like I said, she's a sweet heart.

Hum, pretty snake, but (please dont take thsi the wrong way) but you say you cant afford to fed her? You can probally fine enough change on the ground for mice. I just hate to see people get animals that they cant care for. I know that may sound harsh but just my .02

I've had her for well over 4 years. I can take care of her. I'm still transitioning to civilian life and I haven't got a job yet. Putting food in my belly everyday is more important to me than feeding her every time she wants to eat. She ate last week and she'll be fine for many many weeks. I hate to see people tell someone that they're not caring for their animals properly when they, in fact, have no idea what they're talking about.
