Scarlet Hermit Crab and Electric Blue Leg Hermit

I have both also and completely agree. That sand looks awefully new, how long has the tank been up?

The blue leg will keep growing and growing, if its anything like mine. Pretty soon the scarlet will have to watch his back. As well as the snails and pretty much anything else that resembles a shell. If you dont mind the fact that they get big and like to pick at stuff they are great entertainment.

Helfrich's Chick, I initially set this tank up in November of 2006, so the tank was about six months old at the time of the picture. The sand does look sparkling new here.

shrimp, you are not kidding about the tremendous growth of the Electric Blue Leg! He has so far remained peaceful, and I am hoping he will stay that way.
