I added some duct tape to the overflow box on the left to help block out sunlight from a near by window.

Got any more pics of the full setup? How does the water get from the tank to the overflows?

Marasol I have a few more pics of the full setup. But the process is very simple and I'm running out of room to add more pictures. In a nutshell here is what I did. I just used a max-jet 900. I put the maxi-jet 900 in a 10gal tank behind a false wall to hide it. The maxi-jet 900 pumps the water up to the back of this 2.5. And the hoseline is held in place on the 2.5 with zip ties. I drilled a few small holes in the black plastic trim on the 2.5 where the glass sit's. And put the zip ties thru the holes and around the hoseline to hold it place. Then I put a 90deg. elbow on the end of the hoseline to keep the water flowing into the tank.

Now I have two of those hoselines with 90deg elbows going into this tank. Because I added a T to the hoseline coming up from the maxi-jet 900. It's that simple really.

I had to put duct tape on the outside of the left overflow box. Because I was geting to much sunlight from near by window.

The lightfixture is a 18watt coralife aqualite in 6700k. For the mounting legs I cut 2 strips of arclyc about 1/4 inch wide. And just siliconed the ends of them into the track where the glass cover would sit.

I also made glass covers with a hole cut out in them for the top of the durso to poke thru. The glass covers keep out airbourne dust and cut down on evap. But I had them off for cleaning when I took this picture.

For the overflows I make a slot at least a 1/8 inch wide on both ends of the tank. And you can see the black arclyc baffels that I put in the tank in front of each slot. I siliconed the baffels in place under the black trim. And I like to keep the baffel a 1/4 inch away from the slot. I was in a hurry when I made this fuge that's why the baffel on the left is a little more than a 1/4 inch away from the slot.
