Clownfishcrazy1117 Posted February 10, 2007 That's an awesome picture, if it isn't photoshopped. Quote Link to comment

Clownfishcrazy1117 Posted February 11, 2007 Sorry if I didn't make it clear: I meant to make the background black. Still a great picture! Quote Link to comment
avalanche1201 Posted February 13, 2007 that is truly a beautiful pic....even if the background is photoshopped thats still amazing talent to get the mantis up close and personal like that...Its like ur right there and not even looken at the pic. You have my vote for photo of the month. and if it is photoshopped...nice job blending the mantis into the background so that is some skill right there to edit: thanks for the new background image Quote Link to comment
easy tank Posted February 15, 2007 Great pic, and thanks for the wallpaper, hehe. You got my vote, until someone posts a harlequin shrimp, then you may have some competition =). Quote Link to comment
15-and-6-GAL-NANO Posted February 16, 2007 I love the light shimmer... who has halides on a mantis tank? Quote Link to comment
jamesnmandy Posted February 18, 2007 @ six you obviously don't know what Photoshop is capable of, in skilled hands it can make anything look real......this image is highly photo "chopped", yes it does look awesome, but it's nothing like any of the other non-photochopped pictures and therefore should be disqualified unless the rules allow computer generated/altered images, i dont think thats what the contest was intended for.... chuckfullservice Posted February 19, 2007 Amazing looks like your the winner no way anyone can compete with that shot ! Awsome great job!!! Quote Link to comment
Random One Posted February 19, 2007 Clippo runs Digital Reefs, so he can use that photographic image. Quote Link to comment
clippo Posted February 20, 2007 cheers for all the comments - the mantis was coming out of a cave in the shot so the black area is original. I have removed a couple of bits of rock from around the perifery of the image though as they didn't add anything to the shot. The colour isn't enhanced I might add. It was the most colourful peacock mantis I have ever seen! Quote Link to comment
TheNorthernLight Posted February 26, 2007 nice shot, but it is photoshoped. good work none-the-less. But it's also not a shrimp. Quote Link to comment
