css output mod

what did you do exactly and how does it improve the skimming? do you just leave the pvc Y open?

i think thats to let the "air" out for when it exits through the pipe into the tank

i left mine with the stock whole and made the pipe go horizontal so NO to little bubbles would come out of the out put, but when a snail went inside it would make that whole on the output leak... SO recently i took one of those food containers from bigals and drilled whole through it and covered the output, works verywell so far.

and it looks like you put on of those maxi-jet bubble silencer things on the air thing too, i did the same but put that after the CSS silencer, now theres no noise.
