My bio cube 8 when I got it running. It contains 15lb of LS, 10lb of tonga branch LR. I removed the stock filter, replaced it with LR rubble, and chemi-pure in the first chamber, second chamber has a fuge with chaeto and LR rubble, filter floss on the drip plate, third chamber contains a MJ900, i removed the sponge, added a stealth heater and a bag of purigen.

do you have a light in your 'fuge' area? or does the light from the canopy reach it? :) nice shot
