channel islands 11/06

I used to go fishing there and we'd see great whites swimming through there!

Beautiful place with great fish...but BIG SHARKS!

hah, yeah theres sharks sure, but i hear mostly at san miguel island, we stayed close to santa cruz and santa rosa islands. besides its outa season for the whites. I dont worry too much outside of where i live. I live in the red triangle man! great white capitol, and i surf least 2-3 times a week. Two of my spots were rated at 9 of 10 for sharks. No biggie, just stick to the group and you should be fine. I tell ya, the channel island was an awesome place to dive. WIll do it again. And as far as i know no one has ever been atacked by a white while underwater scuba diving. I could be wrong but i heard that.
