OIIIIIO Posted November 22, 2006 Thanks everyone. Not sure what the spectrum is. It's really cool though. They are 2 R2 mooonlights. When I buy corals now, I always think "How will this look at night?". I get home too late to really enjoy my tank during the day so the moonlights help with that. The wife makes me turn off the lights by 8pm because she thinks the light is too bright. It took me a while to find the setting on my cheapy camera to bring out the true colors. I played around with the white balance so that the camera measures the correct setting for the light provided. Then I use the macro setting with a tripod and the timer. Quote Link to comment

OIIIIIO Posted August 14, 2007 No, they are not that red. they are more orangish. the blue led moonlights make them look red at night. Quote Link to comment

OIIIIIO Posted August 15, 2007 Once I finish the new tank I'm working on, I'll be doing a lot of fragging as I transfer stock to the new tank. Quote Link to comment
