As to the comparison of toxins, you seem to have underestimated a bit: "The comparative toxicity of TTX is summarized by William H. Light. "[W]eight-for-weight, tetrodotoxin is ten times as deadly as the venom of the many-banded krait of Southeast Asia. It is 10 to 100 times as lethal as black widow spider venom (depending upon the species) when administered to mice, and more than 10,000 times deadlier than cyanide." But then again, I was not planning on eating it... But hey, thanks for the info and a warning! I guess feeding these guys to mantises is not a very smart idea either. Quote Link to comment
