Finally decided to setup another nano, been quite a few years (like 6?) sense I had the 10g going. I was thinking the 2x13w 50/50 setup with homedepot ballasts. but if I could fit larger wattage bulbs in that little cover I would. I am definitly sticking with the original cover for the tank. One question, can you use regular NO ballasts for PC? I haven't been able to find PC ballasts at Home Depot. You should be able to fit way more than that over a 5g! E Link to comment
SaltyDawg Posted March 14, 2003 Share Posted March 14, 2003 Erik. The ballast he Is talking about and that youasked me about are NO ballast's. The number you will use to look them up at Home depot is 200H2 . It is a replacment ballast for a regular flourecent 20 watt 24" bulb strip light. The ballast will fire up the 13w 50/50's from hello lights .com. I have three of them on my 5.5 right now Link to comment
